Maddy Alford is a British-American fashion editor, stylist, and writer with 12+ years’ experience in the fashion industry. She most recently spent 10 years in London where she worked at Hearst UK for titles such as Cosmopolitan, Red, and Women’s Health; and before that, Net-a-Porter. Prior to London, Maddy began her career in New York City, working in PR and marketing in the fashion and beauty world.

Maddy is an experienced celebrity stylist, and has styled names such as Beabadobee, Nava Mau, Niall Horan, Saffron Hocking, Perrie Edwards, Saoirse Monica-Jackson, and Dionne Brown, along with several leading UK reality stars and influencers.

She is also an editorial stylist for main fashion and beauty shoots, advertorials, and feature portraits. Maddy has dressed a variety of diverse humans ranging from a size 0 to a size 30; transgender and nonbinary people; women with limb differences, learning differences, and skin conditions; professional athletes and curve models.

In additional to styling, Maddy can consult for brands, create all manner of print and digital shopping content, write and commission long read features, join public speaking engagements, and offer travel journalism coverage for global destinations. Her career has taken her all over the world, from Morocco to Mauritius, The Maldives, St. Lucia, Malta, Jamaica, Mexico and major fashion capitals of the world.
